Ordering & Preorders
How do I place an order?
Use the Custom Order page for celebration bakes, or check this week’s board for the regular menu and reply by email to reserve your items.
When is the order deadline?
Preorders for that week’s bakes close Monday at 6:00 PM. Orders placed after the cutoff move to the following week.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Menu preorders can be changed or canceled at no charge any time before the Monday 6 PM cutoff. After that, ingredients are purchased and the order is final. Full details are on the Terms & Policies page.
Pickup
When and where do I pick up my order?
Pickup is Thursdays after 5:00 PM and Fridays after 8:00 AM. The exact pickup address is shared by email after you order — it is not posted publicly.
What happens if I miss my pickup window?
We hold your order through the end of the pickup window. Items not collected are forfeited without refund — message us early if you’re running late and we’ll do our best to work something out.
Payment & Custom Orders
How do I pay?
Regular menu preorders are paid in full by credit card before pickup. Custom orders over $75 require a 50% non-refundable retainer to hold your baking date, with the balance due at pickup.
How far ahead should I order a custom cake?
Custom requests need at least two weeks’ notice. Celebration cakes need one week’s notice minimum. See the Custom Order page to start a request.
Allergens & Ingredients
Is your kitchen allergen-free?
No. We bake in a shared commercial kitchen that handles wheat, dairy, eggs, nuts, soy and other allergens, so we cannot rule out cross-contact. We don’t recommend our products for severe or life-threatening allergies.
Can I get a full ingredient list?
Yes — full ingredient lists are available on request for any item. Ask before you order if you have questions about a specific bake.
Allergen notice
Made in a shared kitchen.
Our bakes are produced in a shared commercial kitchen that handles wheat, dairy, eggs, nuts, soy and other allergens. We cannot guarantee any item is free from cross-contact, so we do not recommend our products for severe or life-threatening allergies. Allergen lists on this site cover ingredients we add on purpose — they are informational only, not a guarantee. Tinkering Bee Bakery is not responsible for allergic reactions. You are responsible for reviewing ingredients and deciding whether an item is right for you and your guests.
